The thermal spa is set in a beautiful natural environment and blends harmoniously into the landscape of the Sassetta hills. Its architecture, created using river stone and chestnut wood from the surrounding forests, recalls the tradition of ancient Etruscan and Roman thermal baths.

The Thermal Waters of Sassetta

The pools at the Sassetta Thermal Baths are fed by thermal water from the underground springs of the Val di Cornia, which naturally emerges at a temperature of approximately 49.6°C.

The water is classified as hyperthermal calcium sulphate water, naturally rich in sulphates, calcium and other trace elements. The spa offers different environments and temperatures, allowing guests to enjoy a complete wellness experience surrounded by nature.

At the thermal spa, you can alternate between different temperatures and relaxing wellness experiences:

• Frigidarium, outdoor pool at 22–24°C;
• Tepidarium, outdoor pool at 28–32°C with hydromassage jets and waterfalls;
• Calidarium, indoor pool at 38–40°C with hydromassage jets and waterfalls;
• Laconicum, traditional heated sweating room;
• Experience showers;
• Aromatherapy sauna;
• Kneipp path and therapeutic baths;
• Relaxation area and sun terrace with panoramic views.

The thermal spa is located in the Pian delle Vigne valley, surrounded by an unspoilt natural landscape. Its architectural design is inspired by ancient Etruscan and Roman thermal baths, reinterpreting their materials and atmosphere in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

The spa is open every day from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; during July and August, evening openings are also available on Fridays and Saturdays.
